You’ve reached the final stage of the free 200 Situps Training Program. Completing six weeks of progressive workouts is an achievement in itself, and now it’s time to see how far your strength and endurance have come.
The goal of this final test is 200 consecutive controlled abdominal crunches (curl-ups) with good technique. It’s a challenge, not a guarantee: your result is useful progress information whatever number you reach.
Before You Take the 200 Situps Final Test
- Finish Week 6 and allow at least 48 hours of recovery after your final workout; take longer if you’re still fatigued.
- Choose a day when you feel rested. Get adequate sleep, eat normally, and stay hydrated.
- Use a stable, comfortable surface and review the correct crunch technique.
- Warm up gently before starting. If you have an injury or a health concern about exercising, seek appropriate professional advice.
How to Perform Your Final Test
- Start with controlled abdominal crunches, using the same technique you’ve practised throughout the program.
- Count each completed repetition only when you can maintain good form. Keep breathing naturally; don’t hold your breath.
- Keep a steady rhythm. Mentally breaking the challenge into groups of ten can help you stay focused, but the repetitions should remain consecutive.
- Stop when you cannot maintain proper technique, or if you experience pain, dizziness, or unusual discomfort.
- Record the total number of good-form consecutive repetitions you completed.
Aim for 200, but don’t sacrifice technique to reach the number. Resting between repetitions or changing the movement makes the result harder to compare with your earlier tests.

What If You Didn’t Reach 200?
Your effort still counts. Compare your result with your initial test and recognise how much you’ve progressed over the six-week program.
If you want to try again, take adequate recovery time and revisit Week 5 or Week 6 at a manageable level before retesting.
There’s no deadline and no need to push through pain or poor technique. Consistent, controlled progress is the real achievement.
Whatever your result, congratulations on making it to the final test!
