Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Steve Speirs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of twohundredsitups.com (the “Site”), handles information when you visit the Site, use its features, contact us, or interact with third-party services. If you have questions or a privacy request, email steve.speirs@gmail.com.

Information We Collect

We may receive information that you provide voluntarily, including your name, email address, and message when you use the contact form or email us. If you ask to be included in a participant list or Hall of Fame, we may publish the name and details you agree to share. If you sign up for an email list where offered, the subscription service may process your email address and subscription preferences.

When you use the Site, hosting, security, analytics, and advertising technologies may automatically process information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referring URLs, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, and cookie or similar identifiers. Not every service collects every type of information.

How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.
  • To respond to questions, messages, and privacy requests.
  • To publish participant information when you ask us to do so.
  • To understand site traffic and improve our content and user experience.
  • To display advertising, measure ad performance, and support the free training program.
  • To send communications you have requested, where a subscription feature is available.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site and services used on it may set or read cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. These can support essential site functions and security, measure website use, remember preferences, and support advertising. Our previous statement that the Site does not use cookies was incorrect.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some visitors may also see consent or privacy choices provided by advertising or other services. Where applicable law requires consent before optional technologies are used, those technologies should be configured to respect that choice. This policy does not itself create a cookie-consent mechanism.

Analytics

We use Google services, including Google Analytics through Site Kit, to understand how visitors use the Site. Google may process device and usage information in accordance with its policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

The Site also has StatCounter Analytics installed. StatCounter may collect visitor and usage information to help measure traffic and site performance. See StatCounter’s privacy information.

Advertising and Affiliate Links

The Site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to deliver, measure, and, where permitted, personalize ads. You can learn about Google’s advertising practices and available controls at Google’s advertising privacy information and My Ad Center.

Some pages contain Amazon Associates affiliate links. If you follow an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Amazon may process information about your visit or purchase under its own privacy practices. We do not receive your complete payment-card details from Amazon.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. For Amazon’s practices, see Amazon’s Privacy Notice.

Contact Forms, Email, and Spam Prevention

The contact form is provided using WPForms and may collect your name, email address, and message so we can respond. Form submissions and emails may be stored by our website, hosting or email providers, depending on configuration. Akismet anti-spam protection is installed and may process information submitted through supported forms or comments to detect spam.

The Site previously offered optional email signup forms through MailMunch. Those forms have been discontinued. If you subscribed previously, information you provided may remain in records held by the former email service or in our records for as long as necessary for legitimate administrative or legal purposes. You can request information about, or deletion of, data we control using the contact details below.

Security, Hosting, and Backups

Our hosting provider may keep server logs to operate and secure the Site. Wordfence helps protect against malicious activity and may process IP addresses, request details, and security events. Akismet may process information for spam detection. We also use UpdraftPlus for website backups, which may contain site content and stored personal data and may be stored with a cloud backup provider. Access to these systems is limited to people and services that need it to operate the Site.

Donations and Payments

If you choose to donate, payment is handled by PayPal through its own website or hosted payment experience. PayPal processes payment and related information under its policies. We do not collect or store your full card number on this Site. See PayPal’s Privacy Statement.

Sharing and International Processing

We may share information with service providers as necessary for hosting, security, analytics, advertising, forms, email, backups, and payment processing. Third-party services may process data in countries other than your own, subject to their applicable terms and safeguards. We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect the Site and its users. We do not sell contact-form submissions as a mailing list.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including responding to inquiries, maintaining requested participant listings, keeping security and backup records, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by service and configuration. Third-party providers apply their own retention practices. You can request removal of information you have submitted, subject to legal and operational exceptions.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have rights relating to targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information under applicable law. To make a request, email steve.speirs@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You can also adjust browser cookie controls, use available Google advertising controls, and unsubscribe from optional email communications. Some choices may affect how features work.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.

External Websites

Links to third-party websites, including Amazon, Google, PayPal, and PocketMod, lead to services with their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those websites’ privacy policies or content.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
